A little bit about me.

I'm a fireman for Cal Fire - Fresno County Fire. I married my beautiful wife Alex in 2014 and God has blessed us with me beautiful daughter, Faith, in 2019. I have been in the fire service since 2010. In 2018, I got promoted and I knew I wanted a new shield. Instead of buying one, I wanted to challenge myself to a new hobby and make my own. When I was finished, some of the guys offered to pay me to make them one, and then it was off to the races! I have since challenged myself with making the highest quality of leather products of all kinds, to my fellow fire family. I hope you enjoy looking around the store and I hope I have the privilege of making you your next piece that you may, in fact, use for the rest of your career.

A little bit behind the name, Fortified. Fortify means to protect. In The book of Daniel there is a story when King Nebuchadnezzar tells everyone to bow down to his gold idol. When Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refuse, the king throws them into the furnace.  The men come out of the furnace undamaged and tell the King about the One True God that they serve. I think about this sometimes on the way to work as a full time fireman, and pray and ask the Lord to protect (to fortify) me and my crew.
